How To Play

Start by picking an 11-man team of Premier League players from a fantasy budget of £50million, based on the fantasy values we’ve given the players. The players come in the usual four groups – Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders and Strikers.

Your main job is to decide who you think will perform best over the whole 2010/11 football season based on our points scoring system. This rewards the things you would expect – like goals, clean sheets and good performances and it punishes leaky defences, bookings and red cards.

Your 11 selected players then win or lose points for every match they play in the Premier League, FA Cup, Carling Cup, UEFA Champions League (including qualifiers) or UEFA Cup (including qualifiers) as the season unfolds.

During the season you’ll also be able to make a number of transfers to ensure you have the best chance of scoring the highest possible points total! (4 available)

Your squad formation must be either 4:4:2 or 4:3:3. What does this mean? Well you can’t choose 1 goalie and 10 strikers for example!!
